Enterprise Scalr is designed for companies which want the freedom of Open-Source Scalr along with the security and expertise of our support team. More precisely, Enterprise Scalr will use the same source code as Open-Source Scalr but our engineering team will help you installing it on your own data-centers, along with providing support on a contract basis.
In a nutshell, Enterprise Scalr = Open-Source Scalr + Support. Enterprise Scalr includes two types of contract:
A service contract (mandatory): We perform updates and maintenance of Enterprise Scalr software on the infrastructure for every new version (based on a 45 day cycle release).
A support contract (optional): We provide a Service Level Agrement for bug fixes. It covers Scalr-managed instances, and Enterprise Scalr software. The pricing of this contract is dependent on the number of servers and the the level of support.
