Pre-packaged images

This image hasn't been updated in a while, and still runs Scalr 1.2 (latest as of this writing is 2.2.1).

Should you wish to run Scalr yourself, you can use our ready-made image by following these steps.

1. Launch EBS-based instance ami-db24cab2 from EC2
2. Open tcp ports 22 and 80, as well as udp 161 and 162, and icmp
3. Direct your browser to the instance's public_dns
4. Login as admin / admin
5. Go to Settings -> Core settings -> AWS settings and add your credentials
6. SSH into the instance and replace the cert- and pk- files in /var/www/etc with your own
7. Start scaling!
